What is a Meme?
Hi,
I'm Mimi. I am a 70's something grandma of 5. My oldest grandson thinks I have super powers, but that is another story.
Why did I get interested in Memes? Back in the 90's, I learned that the attention span of John Q Public was getting shorter and shorter. Worse than your kid's! And it was all because of our fast-paced life and technologies.
The best way to get my grandson's interest was to treat him like a client (I used to design web pages for a living). Since graphics say volumes on their own, when you pair that with a one-liner, you have a real winner for getting attention.
The other thing that I see is in short supply in today's world is thinking. If you can make a Meme that gets somebody to think about it, that is another winner!
